General Surgery
General Surgery comprises 19 full-time members and approximately 20 part-time members who provide advanced expertise in a broad range of general surgery subspecialty disciplines, including surgical oncology, trauma, critical care, minimal access surgery, endoscopy, hepatobiliary surgery, and colorectal surgery. The services of General Surgery are provided at the two major tertiary care hospitals in Winnipeg—Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface General Hospital, as well as at community hospitals in Winnipeg, Brandon, and rural Manitoba.
